Section bylaws
Section bylaws are subordinate to the USPSA Bylaws and rules of competition. USPSA must be given a copy after every amendment and at every Section Coordinator election; if a Section stops filing them, USPSA's default standards apply instead (Policy §2.5-2.6).

Amending the bylaws
The 2019 bylaws do not set a notice period for amendments. In practice: the proposed text goes out with the meeting agenda, the Executive Committee votes (majority of a quorum, Art. 6.B), and the amended bylaws are sent to the Area 6 Director and the USPSA national office (Policy §2.6(a)) and posted here. Recommended: adopt a 14-day written notice requirement in the next amendment so the process is documented.
