Finances
The Section runs on a small annual fee from each member club. USPSA policy requires a full accounting to the clubs every year; this page is where it gets published.
Income
- Club fee: $20 per member club per year, due before 30 January (Bylaws Art. 7.E).
- Per-shooter activity fee: USPSA allows a Section to levy up to $1.00 per contestant per sanctioned match if its bylaws provide for it (Policy §5.1). The Alabama bylaws currently do not; the Section relies on the flat club fee.
Allowable expenses
Costs of the Section Coordinator's office and projects that benefit all Section clubs: the website and domain, postage, printing, phone. Not allowed: travel, meals, lodging, or match entry fees for club, Section, Area, or National matches (Art. 7.E; Policy §5.2).
Annual accounting
Rendered to the clubs at the annual meeting and posted here (Policy §5.3). Funds transfer to a new Section Coordinator by 15 January of their term.
